What is this lesson about?
In this lesson you will discover the notion of system thinking, which is a fundamental perspective (or paradigm) of Futures Studies. It is the lens through which futures thinkers view the world. We shall guide you through the types of systems that we operate in, relationships among the systems and the main features of systems. You will discover what are the ten enemies of systems thinking and you will be able to find out whether you are a linear or systems thinker.

Who is it for?
It is intended for everyone without basic knowledge on foresight or futures studies. This lesson will help you understand that modern world is made up of innumerable interrelated subsystems, and we need to think in terms of these interrelations to increase our ability to become better problem solvers.
